A letter from an UXHIA co-founder

UXHIA

Uxhia: comes from the Nahuatl word Ixhua and its meaning is - when a seed sprouts.

When I heard this word, it touched my heart, I heard it at a time in my life when I was going through an intense transition moment, and for me, this was a sign, a sign that I had to find the tools, force, and the light to sprinkle that seed within me so that it could sprout and remind me of my inner-power. This moment was when I realized and understood that we have everything we need already within us. Strength, power, love, light, everything is within, and if we take care of ourselves and treat ourselves with kindness, those seeds can begin to sprout and radiate all that is inside to the outside world.

For me, Uxhia is a dream come true. All my life, I have wanted to do something significant, something that has a good impact on the world and society, and leave many tiny seeds planted around this world so that, little by little, they sprout and bring light, love, peace, strength, and joy to everyone's lives.

Uxhia is not something that was born in recent months. It is a seed planted many years ago, and only now, when I had the opportunity to return to my hometown for several months, did it start to sprout. My experiences, failures, joys, learnings, travels, cultures, and broken hearts- all come down to one word, UXHIA.

I was fortunate to cross paths with a powerful woman in San Francisco who shares the same life mission: sharing and leaving something in this world that will make our society a better place for future generations. Who would have known when we met seven years ago that we would be here today, making our dreams come true. Mariana is a friend, partner, and soul sister I have been working with in the past months to bring UXHIA to life. A sister who has trusted me to launch our dreams together without fear, knowing that if something goes wrong, we have each other. A woman that I admire in all aspects, both personally and professionally. A soul that when we saw each other and exchanged words and thoughts about our life purposes, our eyes began to shine when we realized that we wanted the same and that we had the same dream in common.

Today Mari and I are launching UXHIA and opening our hearts with you, sharing our dreams. We hope that our message, experiences, and everything we have to share will resonate with you and inspire you to join us on this beautiful journey. A journey of knowing ourselves better, loving ourselves more, finding all the tools that already exist within us, and remembering that all power exists in our hearts and within our being.

UXHIA, being born in Mexico, had the power to remind me of who I am, my roots, my strength, my passion. It gave me all that strength and love one more time, that force that recharges me and allows me to break barriers, throw mountains, and cross continents. Thank you for allowing me to find myself and, more importantly, to dare to follow my dreams. To remind me that we are light, we are love, and we are already everything, and we hope that UXHIA will do the same to all of you who decide to join our tribe.

Thank you, UXHIA, for giving us a space to share and grow together, to discover rituals that help us move forward day by day, to have experiences that heal and empower us, and above all, to grow, transcend and evolve as people all united collectively.
